Historical Musical Instruments

To truly encapsulate the magic of historical musical instruments, you have to adopt the same making processes that were used centuries ago. My name is George Stevens and I have spent my career so far doing something I love – handcrafting historical musical instruments from the base wood, up. Extreme care and attention to detail is taken at every step of the instrument making process, from chopping and hand selecting the wood to use, through to carving and stringing the instrument.

If you have already had a look through my website, you will know that I can make everything from historical guitars through to early Irish Harps. Every piece that leaves my workshop has my own individual design style and flair whilst keeping true to the instrument designs of old to create a truly authentic instrument for you.
