Four Course Guitar

With its origins dating back to the sixteenth-century, the four-course guitar is truly an instrument that has stood the test of time in terms of looks and sound. It is certainly one of the popular choices for my customers who are looking for a stunning Renaissance guitar that provides the sound of old. I handcraft all of the instruments that leave my workshop and in particular, I take influence in the four-course guitar design from the late 16th. C. Diaz instrument.

When it comes to handcrafting four-course Renaissance guitars, the secret always lies in the wood. Selecting the type of wood to use is a longer process than you may expect and working with wood overall is a tricky process. I have many years of expertise in handcrafting musical instruments and it certainly is a passion of mine. You can see images throughout my website of a range of instruments I have been charged with crafting for my customers, which I hope provides you with excellent insight with what I can create for you.

If you have any questions or you would like to discuss your four-course guitar design ideas with me, then please call me (George) on 01797 320 152. I look forward to speaking with you soon.
