Experienced Historical Harp Maker

Whether you are starting out with learning to play the harp or you are an experienced harp player, if you love historical harp designs that date back centuries, then I am confident that you will love what I can handcraft for you. My name is George Stevens and I am a passionate instrument maker. I have a keen interest in period instruments which includes historical harps through to renaissance lutes. I take my design styles from particular periods in history to create a truly authentic piece which is bespoke.

As you will be able to see from the images on my website, great care and attention to detail is taken at every step of the instrument making process. Right from selecting the ideal wood to use, carving creative and historically accurate designs, through to stringing your instrument. You will receive an instrument that is completely playable today but nods its cap to history.
