From the 17th up to the first half of the 18th Century, the Baroque period gave rise to a number of musical instruments that we know well today. However, there are a number of differences between Baroque string instruments and their modern counterparts of today. My name is George Stevens and for over 30 years, I have specialised with handcrafting musical instruments which replicate particular eras of history and one of my favourites is the Baroque period.

Being highly experienced with working with wood to make stunning instruments from the base up, I know the importance of working with only the highest quality of timber to produce a beautiful instrument which will last for the years to come.
