Baroque Period Instruments

The Baroque period saw a huge rise in popularity of certain stringed instruments which includes the lute, and five-course guitar. Dating back in history to the 17th-18th Century, the Baroque period was a time of celebration for the arts and the instruments created at this time had their own unique style and sound from the way the instruments were made, designed and with the materials used. I love to replicate this era of history with the musical instruments that I handcraft from my studio. If you have found me online or you have been referred to me because you would love to own and play a Baroque period instrument, then I would love to help you.

Once you have instructed me to create your instrument, I will get to work with making sure that your instrument truly reflects the Baroque period. From selecting and processing the wood to use through to the making, designs and stringing of the instrument, great care and attention to detail is taken at every step.
