As an experienced instrument luthier, one of the key areas of history I focus on is the Baroque period. This era of music history is rich with composers such as Bach, Vivaldi and Handel who are now viewed as music pioneers of their time. As such, there was a rise of unique instrument design and types of instrument that were specialised to this time in history.

Whether you are looking for a Baroque styled lute, guitar or something different, I will take the time from the outset to fully understand what you require. From my workshop, I will then be able to make your instrument and the highest standard of care is taken at every step of the process. From hand-selecting the base wood to use, through to carving individual unique designs, I will ensure that you are left with an instrument that you will love to play for many years to come.
